Welcome back to Film Friday! Where I review cameras from my own collection and give my opinion, and share my results. This week we’ll be looking at the Praktica Super TL1000
The camera is a 35mm SLR camera which utilises the M42 lens mount system, and this particular model has through the lens metering for exposure. As it is a mid 60s camera the technology is limited. For example the light meter is activated by depressing the aperture preview button therefore closing the aperture down to get a reading.
My camera was in good working condition when I had it, but the original leather had seen better days. In response to this I decided to upcycle the look by reapplying new red imitation leather, bringing it up to date.
